GOLDSMID HALL

Here at Goldsmid Hall, we are delighted to run a wonderful Home Ed morning of Performing Arts classes designed to get all children engaged. Parents are invited to stay (if you wish!) to join in or to sit at the side and enjoy from afar! Neurodiversity, in its many forms, is welcome and our cohort is diverse and magical!

Sessions run at the following times:

Pinters 9:30am-10:15am (recommended age 4-7) - In these sessions we explore creative scenarios for drama, do choreographed sequences for dance and our singing is learned through repetition and group work. Children are invited to join in wherever they can and have the opportunity to offer suggestions as to which songs/dances they’d like to do that day (once they’ve learned them, of course!).

Apollos 10:20-11:15am - (recommended age 7-13) - In the Apollos class the biggest difference is expectation and focus. We run fun exercises and drama games with all students expected to join in where they can. We’ll occasionally use lyrics as an aid although any student struggling to read should not be put off by this. Throughout our sessions we aim to increase an understanding of our bodies and our voices. We will learn songs and choreography whilst also following stories and narratives.

In the Apollos class we also seek to improvise and to explore the wider range of experiences and emotions that older children can draw upon.

Phoenix 11:20am-12pm - (recommended age 2-4) - Phoenix class (Starting Monday 23rd February) is a joyful pre-lunch session for toddlers where they can experience music. We will involve movement, singing (parents get those voices ready!) and use a variety of different theatrical props and visual aids to help introduce your little one to our theatrical world.

Each session cost £9, with a discounted rate of £5 for additional siblings.
